Angora goats and then processes the mohair into
yarns at their own spinning mill, with yarn kept
natural or hand painted. Selling mohair
yarns, spinner's rovings, knitting notions and

promotes beef in Kentucky. They provide
concessions at Marion County Fair, and operate
boots at Marion County Ham Days. They
provide ribeye steak sandwiches, hamburgers and
hot dogs at various events.

specializes in all stages of wool production,
right up to spinning and felt. Selling
wool jackets, shawls, scarves all spun, dyed and
woven right on the farm. Also, wool
sculptures, Santas, sheep and other figures.

more. Tours welcomed. Wool Gathering
Festival on second Saturday in September each

restored buildings on 2,900 acres. This
National Historic Landmark provides all visitor
services in original 19th century buildings.
Farm activities include plowing and working with
horses and oxen, gardening and raising heirloom
vegetables and grain, milking and tending sheep.
From April through October, visitors can see
firs t hand what life was like in a Shaker
community more than a century ago.
Experience a self-guided
architechtural tor of Wickland, The Home of
Three Govenors. Considered one of the best
Federal-Style house in Kentucky, built aroun
1825 - 1828. Exhibits focus on the three
govenors, the Civil War and black history.
